I love this simple (but fabulous!) idea to take advantage of the lower prices of lemons at this time of year. This trick will allow you to stock up on lemons and make them last for months.

I am from Arizona, and we had a lemon tree. Our one lemon tree would produce SO MANY lemons. My mom would juice the lemons and freeze the juice in ice-cube trays. Then when the cubes were frozen she would simply put the lemon cubes in ziploc bags and keep them in the freezer. She had it down to a science about how many cubes she would need for a pitcher of water. Then you just add sugar and stir. Homemad lemonade any time of the year…for cheaper!
That’s a great idea!! Thanks. The freezer idea is good too, but i don’t have a lemon tree.
I love this idea and Heidi’s. If my lemon tree ever produces, I hope I remember these tips.
