I’m planning a canning day for berry syrup and some pickling. If you have any favorite recipes to share, please do. I’m looking for a syrup that’s a little bit chunky and somewhere in between syrup and pie filling.
I’ll post photos and recipes soon!
Hey Kim,
I love your site and your ideas. Have you ever made homemade applesauce and do you have a recipe for it? I am fairly new to canning and would love to try making homemade applesauce.
I used your recipe for apple pie filling out of the AP catalog last year. I loved it. It makes great apple crisp.
Thanks, Amy!
Here is a link to my Crock Pot Applesauce post from last year:

It’s a VERY easy way to make homemade applesauce. This year, I want to try canning applesauce, so I’ll have to post an update with that method. I’m glad you enjoyed the pie filling. I love it too! It’s great on Belgian waffles!
