I love this creative idea from my friend and neighbor, Shirley! She decorates her empty #10 food storage cans (and other large cans like the one above) with scrapbook paper, die cuts and ribbon to create handmade packaging for gifts. Throw in some tissue paper and your cans are dressed to impress! This idea doesn’t just look great. It is a thoughtful way to reuse items to save money and the environment. Happy crafting!
