I purchased this fun new food storage cookbook at Costco for $10.99 just before Mother’s Day. I was sold on it from the introduction. The authors did a beautiful job explaining the spiritual aspect of food storage and self-reliance. Obedience is the key. However, I love this cookbook because the recipes don’t sound / taste like typical food storage. The book supports my philosophy that cooking with food storage does not always mean wheat, rice and beans for dinner. There are even recipes to enjoy from your garden. I loved the Avocado and Pineapple Salad with Poppy Seed vinaigrette. Perfect for summer!
