SKS bottling

I received an e-mail from SKS Bottle and Packaging, a neat company that carries a varied selection of glass bottles and jars, as well as metal and plastic containers. They have a lot of fun shapes and sizes.  With the holidays not too far away, I think their decorative items are perfect for packaging homemade gifts from the kitchen.  They also have nice containers for spices. I’m eyeing their barbecue sauce bottles to use for my husband’s fabulous rib sauce. Anyway, check them out: http://www.sks-bottle.com.  They are sending me some samples, so I will post an update with more information when I receive them. Can’t wait!

Thank you for this information. I like to do gifts of food mixes, etc and this site just may come in handy. 🙂

    Kim,
At the AP Food Show you demonstrated how to use the Food Saver for sealing in freshness using canning jars, and a vacuum piece to the Food Saver. I can’t find those any where. Can you suggest to me where to find them. I don’t even know what they are called.
    Thanks,
    Fern

    Fern,
If you look at my recommendations from Amazon on the right side of this page, you’ll find the FoodSaver and the jar attachments. If any of the items are out of stock, let me know and I’ll track them down for you. –Kim
