About Me

When my husband and I became more aggressive about obtaining and organizing our food storage, I spent hours on the internet and the phone seeking out information and the best prices for food storage staples.  I’m a busy wife, and mother of four children, so I think organization is key to accomplishing things around our house. Although the web offers multiple sites addressing food storage topics, I wished there was one, comprehensive site for food storage and emergency preparedness where a community of like-minded people could share resources, ideas, and recipes and direct each other to useful information on home food production.  Hence, allaboutfoodstorage.com was born to corral and organize information we can all use to prudently prepare for life’s challenges, or possible disasters.

A good friend and successful web designer volunteered to help me launch the site, and I hope it will evolve quickly to a useful resource for families.
